
A delegation from the National Agency of Civil Aviation co-chaired by Director General , engineer Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Bouassriya and accompanied by Director of Transport Air Mr. Ahmed Ould Baba Ahmed to participated in 2016 Space Conference that was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. During the period between 15th and 17th March, the conferees dealt with various topics such as the nature and the means of space flight routes outside the ordinary course of our planet, the advantage of this type of Aviation that embodied in providing fast air express carrier service line and realizes Nations' aspirations and peoples' hope towards better use of time and effort. Moreover, conferees explored the obstacles and challenges that might affect the realization of this goal such as legal problems, technical problems, foremost of which is to control the safety and security of air transportation process through space and determine legal liability and regulatory issues related to this type of aviation. In addition of continuous control and monitor to ensure the availability of necessary infrastructure such as airports and means of communication and monitoring.
This conference has been organizing by the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs of the United Nations and the World Organization on International Civil Aviation (ICAO). Among participants were civil aviation authorities as well as international bodies and interested aviation companies that try to start their carrier operations through space.
During the conference, speakers also expressed their deep appreciation to United Arab Emirates for hosting such a good organized conference. They also highlighted the tremendous efforts and the great strides United Arab Emirates has made in order to develop its space program and renovation techniques.
