During the meeting of African and Madagascar Civil Aviation Authorities on Tuesday 15/12/2015 in the Senegalese capital Dakar, the election of our country as the head of this council has been made for a renewable term of three years.
This council is entitled not only to supervise the safety of civil aviation Member States but also cooperation and coordination with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in this regard.
The election of the Director General of the National Agency of Civil Aviation Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Bouassriya as the head of this council comes as a result and appreciation for the great efforts and the successive successes achieved by our country in the field of civil aviation safety during the recent period.
