· The 57th Meeting of the Committee of Ministers of ASECNA, held July 29th, 2015 at the International Center of Conferences Nouakchott. The opening ceremony of the meeting was chaired by Mr Yahya Ould Hademine, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. The work of the meeting was chaired by Mr. Isselkou Ould AHMED IZIDBIH Minister of Equipment and Transport of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania who will chair the committee until the next statutory meetings.
On the evening of the statutory meetings, the Minister of Equipment and Transport, Mr. Isselkou OULD AHMED IZIDBIH accompanied by the Director General of ASECNA, Amadou Ousmane GUITTEYE, the Director General of ANAC and the Director General of SAM performed the inauguration:
· Technical block and a control tower, a synoptic weather observation station and its access roads, new means of VHF and VSAT Mini CAT communication and fire fighting vehicles in Nouadhibou.
· Building the Power Plant and the Regional Control Centre (RCC) International Airport OUMTOUNSY Nouakchott.
In addition to these inaugurations was taken in Nouadhibou. the realization of this unite that consists of fire station, training area, and drilling is the cornerstone of safety.
In addition to these statutory meetings, Ministers, Directors and experts ASECNA member countries visited the new OUMTOUNSY Nouakchott airport which is a new model of public private partnership.
